Why review
Peer review is the filter that sustains the quality of what the journal publishes. Reviewers see what is being researched in their field before anyone else and help other authors improve their work. When each issue closes, the journal publishes the list of its reviewers with their institution and country.
Who we are looking for
Teachers and researchers from any country, with a master's degree or doctorate and recent publications in education, the humanities, the social sciences or professional development. We particularly welcome reviewers from outside Ecuador, people with experience in quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods and, for the volume 2 special section, specialists in artificial intelligence in education.
What it involves
Each review uses the journal's public review form and is due four weeks after accepting the invitation. Before accepting, reviewers disclose any conflict of interest. Throughout the process they keep the manuscript confidential and do not upload it to artificial intelligence tools. Any invitation may be declined.
How to sign up
- Create an account on the platform through Register and add your ORCID iD.
- Tick the box to receive review requests and list your areas of expertise.
- If you already have an account, enable the reviewer role in your profile, under the "Roles" tab.
The editorial team invites each reviewer according to the manuscript's topic and the absence of ties with its authors, as explained in the peer review policy.
